Once again, I, Craig Williams, chief cook and bottle-washer of Morning Brew – Classic Jazz Edition, will be offering Thank You Gifts to those donating certain amounts during the WPFW 2020 Winter Fund Drive. Premiums, Collateral Materials, Branding, Logo-Wear, or Thank You Gifts, as we call them at WPFW, community supported Jazz & Justice radio, it’s all SWAG = Stuff We All Get. However, these fashionable items are only available as Thank You Gifts for donating to WPFW.

WPFW 2020 Winter Fund Drive

As of Sunday 9 February 2020, WPFW has begun a three week Winter Fund Drive, hopefully ending on Leap Day, 29 February 2020, if we achieve our goal. We had a very successful year-end mini-drive (150% of goal) for which we thank all of you who supported the station. As with all drives, this is a vital fundraising drive, as WPFW is 100% listener supported. We do not sell commercials or accept commercial underwriting. We are not owned by a university or other larger institution. We get no financial support from the network. We depend on you. Additionally, it is very important that we show our sister stations and the Pacifica National Board that we continue to be the strongest, best run, most financially viable station in the network. Your donation does that.

None of the money raised goes to the volunteer programmers, like me. Pepco; our landlord; American University, where we use their tower to broadcast; our internet ISP; and our small, dedicated, overworked staff all want to get paid. The Fine Print

These items will be produced especially for you at the end of the drive. Yours truly, Craig Williams, will personally procure them and post them to you, guaranteed. Please allow 3 – 4 weeks for delivery. These are only available as Thank You Gifts for your pledge of support to WPFW (see above for how to pledge). Minimum donations for each gift will be listed on the pledge form online or ask the phone volunteer if you call in your pledge. There is no maximum amount. Give ask much as you can afford. You will feel good and look sharp. Lastly, do not assume you will automatically receive a gift if you donate the required minimum amount. You have to specify, to the phone volunteer or on the web-form, what gift you want.
